Server files..in question

OK guys...i been thinking about this for a long time,and just want an opinion on what you guys think is the best reliable set of sources to use..And please don't be gay in say i have to code it.i realise that but off the shelf which would be best.My son wants me to set up a server for his mates at school to play on and i have almost all kinds of files here..3.5 gigs worth and i'm not sure which to start on.easiet to work on etc etc sql version... ease of connecting from web...php etc etc

As you all know everyone here has been using there own sources and as you all know only a few have been using the same set..

Is sql 3.51 most realiable and less buggy? as i'm thinking to use these..

I don't think there are 3.5 gigs of sources over the internet even if you count duplicate copies.

do a aspx site and hard-code the stuff into your website :)

(ill maby do a ready-to-go sqlsite for the server with complete tutorials howto setup evrything :) (coming soon maby))
