So im sitting here waiting for the internet satallites to come back up, and i've had an idea. I'll upload some pics and movies as time permits so that those interested can actually see iraq as it is.

I'll update as time goes by and i find some new shit to photograph, if you got any questions or something just ask.



I just got here about a month ago. Here's where I live:

First time outside the wire:

Largest village in our AO. Everyone hates us here. The entrance of the village is a bridge across their main water supply.

Fuel point...Kinda like a gas station in the states lol. The little shack is a guard point for the Iraq Army(IA). They conduct searches of vehicles and such.

See the one in the blue clothes and leather beenie? I don't know his name yet, I see him everytime I goto that village. He can count to 30 and say ABC's in english. He usually tells the others what we're trying to say (the best he can). Smart kid.

Negative. Not much action where im at. It blows. They want us to play nice nice with the locals. It seems to work, we dont get hit with many IEDs (my units only been hit with one and they been here for 5 months)
