[req] Up To Date Hgserver/worldserver/mainlog

Greetings all,

I've compiled the 3.82client but it doesnt work with my hgserver worldserver nor mainlog. it doesnt accept the client and i have alot of things missing. Example dragonwand/elvine hero slayer/aresden hero slayer/crafting/farming/i can level over the lvl limit/stats are buggy becomes negative and can add above limit.

Can someone kindly tell me which is the best to use or share their precious files?

If you still have errors when compiling, delete the client sources and zip archive from your comp, uninstall VC++, find a good server and play it ! You are not smart enough to mess with the sources... keep playing and forget owning a server !

exactly i tested World log with a lot HG Servers and all worked perfectly you just to noobish to set up a server.

i asked for help not flame. all of you were once noobs and have to start somewhere. i only ask for help. i dont appreciate any flaming for you. if you dont wana help just stfu. you MIGHT be gd at this but suck at others. I'm still asking for advice on which to use best with the 3.82client by snoopy and would appreciate anyone who would help. thank you.

Yes we were all noobs once but NONE of us got here by asking everyone else to do it for us, so, get off your lazy ass, pick up a c++ book an maybe a book that helps you in general common sense and life, and go and learn on your own.

This will save you alot of time and embarassment.

agreed with slipknight for most of it, but ill throw this in as well, everything most people use here are based upon sources that are available already here, and anything that makes what they have unique vs others they have learned from examples already here.

if you cant figure out the sources yet, just keep working with parts you know, look for things that are familiar to you and find what else uses them. expand from there with things that intereact.

i guess your english isn't gd enough to understand my previous post. i'm only asking for advice on which works the best. i'm not asking anyone to do anything only advice. i ALSO said no FLAMING and <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>STFU</span> if you dont wana help. same things goes to the rest like Jensen. Do not post unless you're trying to help.

Only people like bluechristmas is kind enough to lead me the right way on how to get things right.

misery, all you said was that you cant get it to work with the 3.82 client, you gave no other information and simply continue to flame back at everyone.

All of my files that i use are from hbss, with the exception of the client which was recently released here. and hypnotoads logserver in the near future probally.

from my experience every server has worked with the sources, if for some reason it doesnt, you probally have something in the globaldef.h in the client messed up.

there is nothing anyone can do to guide you based on what little information you have given us, the 3.82 client works, and as far as i can tell if you cant get a test server up with it you should just give up (or stop being so bitchy and add what youve done and any error messages etc... so that we have more information to go off of)

when i use 3.82 client it says different version when i try to login using the character and then it auto closes hb. can someone please explain to be what does hgserver do gateserver do worldserver do and mainserver do i'm confused. thanks all

if i remove this it, the mainserver shouldn't block the 3.82 client anymore but accept all versions of clients?
