Ok here goes....I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a problem when I try to play on HB United. Some background first....I live in a dorm and so the campus network ppl I am connected through have disabled junk and firewalled junk to where I cannot play correctly on some servers. When I joined HB United, to my surprise, I was able to play in the town/farm area (aresden) without the lag I experienced on other HB games. But then I tried to go anywhere outside the town/farm, and, unfortuantely, the old lag came back...and this is no ordinary lag. When I go to one of these places, I cannot move or type or do anything, and I usually get disconnected within a matter of seconds (and yes, I did die to an enemy combatant the first time I tried to go into the PL
). I guess different people host the different places, but it is weird I can connect correctly to the town, but not anywhere else. I assume it is some problem with my ports because of the network I am connected to the internet through.
Basically my question is this...is there anything I can do about this problem? I can only play so long being stuck in the town, without any chance of ever getting to hunt, raid, crusade, or lvl easier other places...any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
