Getting Own Passwords
get Brute force, find a good wordlist, start cracking and wait.

Passwords are usually fairly easy to obtain, especially when you are taking them off of your own computer rather than over the web. I currently know of three different methods of doing so.
First, there is the bruteforce method. This method goes through every possible letter and number combination to eventually find your pass. The upside of this method is that you are almost assured to find the correct password. The downside is that longer passwords can take up to months or years to obtain.
Second there is the dictionary or wordlist method. Using this method, a program runs through a list of words such as a dictionary to find possible matches. The upside is much faster password cracking. The downside is that few people actually use real words and it is very possible that you wont be able to crack it.
The third method is to go directly into the program's coding and rip the pass by hand. The upside is that you dont have to wait for a cracking program. The downside is that passwords are usually encoded or nearly impossible to find in the first place.
