2. download a hex editor
heres one provided by helbreathss.tk

3. open up your client with the hex editor
as shown here:
4. once its open, press ctrl+f and search for check sum
(blue underline is the ip you want to edit, red underline is what you searched for)
5. edit the ip
to edit the ip, just directly type over the ip that is there in the right column
if you dont know the ip, scroll down, i put a guide
*IF YOU CANNOT FIND CHECKSUM, IT MEANS THE CLIENT IS PACKED*****
so, your best bet is just to use the hack that charlie made
or you can try to unpack it with procdump, or stripper_v20

using<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'> <a href='http://unadvised.net/main/index.php?act=Search&f=' target='_blank'>SEARCH</a></span> never hurts
*HOW TO FIND THE IP*
open up the client
log in to the char select screen
alt+tab out and open up command prompt and type netstat -n
and it should be one of those ips (will have 4 numbers in the port)
its easier to turn off all other internet shit ie: internet explorer, aim, msn, games
(less ips to deal with)
