running my own server under ethernet

hi i did everything on how to create my own server. i am under a ethernet connection. i have two ips. i used the ip that was shown in gateserver at the bottom. but i also have another ip which changes everytime i restart the internet or restart.

anyways, i did everything correctly. i put my ip that was shown in gateserver to all the cfg files. then i hexed the client and i checksum error and replaced the ip above to mines. ex 192.125.0.1. there was an extra space so i put 0s. anyways when i open all the exe(gate server mainlsserver pressed home...etc). so when i get into the client i type in the character info...all it does is it counts down and just keeps getting higher 1, 2,3 -60 or so. everything in the cfg matches and everythign was a success. so mabe its just my ethernet but i dont know what to do. btw i tried the other ip but the hgserver just always said "connection lost"

so if u know what i can do to play my server please reply...

btw i dont know what it ment by 127.0.0.1(do not use this) so i just replaced it with my ip...

srry bro, your router wont work. i got same problem. i reccomend selling your router and getting a D-LINK. that opens all ports sou cann connect. Or cal isp get 2 box for 2 diff IP
