man classes wont take alot of code. just make a new line that loads in your char file for a Class Number* or name what ever u want.

got ot Equip function have it call a new function that checks if the item is for the characters class or not.

if your talking about adding a class require for every item not just a few then youll have to add a new number to load in Item.cfg witch will take alot of lines.

or u can make a new message telling the Cleint unequpip the item.

i think easyst way is make a new file the HG loads with a list of all the items and that requir a class. that has the Item ID and the Class ID. then in the equip code have it call a new function and then in that function it will tell rather or not the item is in the new file and if it is if the charcters class is the same as the class in the new file.

and if it dosnt make HG send message to client to disequip the item. if u dont send a message clients will still see it equip even tho its not

i've seen it in hb2 sources and server files lol rebuilt them myself even just to see how it worked XD

You make it sound simple Marley. I wasn't going to go that far indepth. But, I'm slowly working on it. Between School, and work. There isn't that much time left for coding/tutorials. If you guys think I can't do shit, I'll post something simple.

It really isn't that hard.

To add classes, just use another line in the char file character-class = # .

To make items class specific, just add another value on the end of all items, or re-use the effect values and have it unequip/not equip if their class value != item's class value.

What else is there?

Zip's are pretty much filled with the same stuff over and over again...

Anyways one thing I did notice is that the HBPolska HGServer is not really for HBPolska but its for HBLegends 3.2 when Hanczar was coding for them.

He re-coded pretty much everything.

lol.. legends.. hblegends was just a cheap asm job with a few new codes. I remember when they asked me to join their team. Tried to tell me they ran 3.51 yet when I logged onto their server on a 3.51 client instead of theirs, everything was fucked up.
