well.. thats my server I have runned little pit over a year...

Server has long history, have been in different files and last game lasted littlepit more then a year from January of 2004.

At the 1. June 2005 started new game, with new accounts and characters.

At the moment server runs on GateServer 2002-6-20, MLServer SQL2000 v3.51, WLServer SQL2000 v2.195, and original ChinaHGserver v3.51 build 512, all data (characters, items, accounts etc.) are saved to the MSSQLserver.

Settings:

* maxlvl = 180
* maxstats = 200
* EK per kill = 1
* modified rare droprate (Guide page for more information)
* exprate is level dependant, but something 20x as HBinters exprate
* raid-time:
o monday-thursday = 1
o friday-raid-time = 30
o saturday-raid-time = 45
o sunday-raid-time = 60
* Heldenian, Apocalypse, Crusade works.
* Please note that Manufacturing and Alchemy skills are modified!
* DK items works you can buy them from Blacksmith, but for upgrading them, you need to make them binded with script on Support page.
* You can change up to 400 EKs from Contribution with script on Support page, 1 EK costs 2 Contribution points, then it's easyer to get HeroSet
* Please read the rules section as well.

* From City Hall you can teleport to the TOH1 and to the Aresden or Elvine cities

Read the rules... not knowing rules doesn't help you. All supportive php scripts are at Support page, Eventlists on events page, be shure you have the last version of up2date.exe, Manufacturing and RareDroprate lists are readable from Guide page...

an old event feature is now enabled in HBest... HB Soccer/Football... fully functional, ball and gates works... today is Football match in Middleland.. between Aresden and Elvine..

Yes it's really fun event, that, we had many good matches:
There is 2 versions:

1st:
Use the "EnergyBall" nad either ML goals.
Original automated spawn for EB needed 500+ connected at ML !
You can as well use GM's EB spawning.
As an alternate way you can use an Arena that's specially designed for HBFootball, or design your own map.
NB: "Puxhing" the Ball had to be fixed a little, but works fine now.

2nd:
Use a modifyed HB as the ball. the aim is not to push it, but to have follow you towards your goal.
Needs a GM to summon the Ballon, and judge weather the victory line is crossed or not.
Can be played everywhere, as a food's line could be enought to make the goal.
Can be played PvP (may kill oponnent 1st) or not PvP.
Sugestion was to limit mages to 6th circle spells and wars to 100- FullSwing strength weapons. The teams can use dyed clothes too.
An issue is mage invi the Ballon, can be tricky for wars...

well.. I use original mapdata and configs.. all needed gates and points and other related configs were in there allready...

only thing... my server EnergySphere can't be "pushed"... it can be moved by spells only.. don't know why... I tried it many ways to make "pushable"... maybe it shouldn't be "pushable" at first place? do anybody remember this event from HBinter? last time this event was made very long time ago at official server.. don't know why they do not use it anymore...

atm we had only one match on Arena... its wierd that if you push the ball to the gate.. you get +5 contribution.. but after loging... your contribution bonus is gone... maybe its related with Arena?.. and somebody claimed that he lost few EK's... don't know how and why...

I know when you push ball into your own gate you get -10 contr:-D

I quit from HBserver business for ever...

I will play the last play in one very good HB server.. after I tire from it.. I quit from HB for good...

HB = waste of time/life
hosting anykind of free service for ppl in internet = waste of time + extreme stupidity

You are free to share HBsoccer secret with any ppl you think are good to know that secret...

And possible can do something for players that played your server and looking forward to transfer to another one like mine...can set up something up.

well here it is, change the ROOT_OLD and ROOT_NEW to the path for your old and new character files. this was intended as a one file at a time system for option transfer for players that wished to use thier old character on the new server

it does not overwrite existing files, and in there is a small part for changing the WSNAME if needed

needs to be run from command line and takes the args as shown in the code. feel free to change what you need or repost it if you would like it in a better section
