make sure eny fire wall are not up and i\thios works for cable not dsl and soem, router will not work

Hmm. Wont work for me. I think that I can't host. But i have router. Don't know. <_<
I forwarded ports and etc, but my friend can't connect. :/

make sure you gave your friend the right ip in ther client. You use your internal to connect and other's need your external to connect through client to server. Make sure like juggalo said that you put it to lan on server not internet.
