Change Client Version

How to change client version and make that the client shows "Ver 3.51" when the real version is 1.21 (example).

the real version is 3.51 , change it to 1.21
but you must search for it in hex value then...

there is houndred "3" and "51" in hex. tried for many times... and nothing.

I made a program for that on v3.51.
AS my server is now protected beyond any client version change, I can release it.

have fun i made this like a year ago

log server port look in client then change default is
<bh:00><bh:20><bh:0b><bh:00> wich is 2848.

client version difent
look for <bh:24><bh:10><bh:33><bh:00> and as default its .51 change the 33 to chnage it
look for <bh:6a><bh:33><bh:68> and as default its .51 change the 33 to chnage it

I coded this stuff long ago but less than 1 year.

As a matter of fact I initially removed it from the MagEffect I released here.

But as I said above,:
1- Now every serious hacker will know how to do that without my proggy so this well known trick became useless.
2- My current protection system is a really more evoluted, and I do not need to keep that secret anymore.

not really. must find the hex adress what is it under or whats below client version.

compare normal 3.51 client and your client then you got difference.

If i change 3.51 version in client to 3.52, 3.60 etc, wl server says: wrong version. What need to do?

I mean it accepts "3.60" client.
