How Do Change Port 2848 In Client

Can any1 explain, how do change port 2848 in client.exe? i search that port whit hex editor, but it dont find it.

you must find whats the hex in 2848 then change it then search in hex decimal but i tell u tomorrow i g2g atm

Search For This Hex Values 200b
The First Line you find will be The port

i found this line: .8*'.8+'.8;'.8E..8.'.8I..88'.8+'.8e'

E and e was whit ˇ on them and big E was marked if it found it. i searched whit ctrl+g

is it right line? what i change in it if i change the port (im using 3.51 client)

1: Search For 200b In HEX Values... NOT TXT Values...

2: Then you will Find 10 Instances of It... The First Instance Is the Client Port 2848

well.. ok you change 2848 port on client.. in what purposes? if you change it in the hope client hacker can't connect to your server with wrong client.. then netstat -a shows the port.. and hacker can edit hes client too...

EDIT: if you want to awoid hackers, it is good idea to feed them with less information as possible, id they do not know what kind of security do you have, what kind of packer you have and so on, it makes harder to hack... but if you let them know... that you changed port and WSname and version and so on, they hav targets... until then they have to recognise protection and targets... wich make more harder to hack.

i agree with rage tahst why i woulnt tell everyoen hwo to chage teh version and port in client so ti stop noob hackers now noob can coem and read and ask stupid ? hopw to do it and shit so they can do it wich now there nto realy away to stop cvlienting hacking now from all noobs unless u code soem shti into it

got damn... noone needs to unpack ur client to find port... takes 2 mins to get MLserver port

WS name is like the easiest thing to find....all u need is to just run the client and look at the running client, no need to unpack

log server port look in client then change default is
<bh:00><bh:20><bh:0b><bh:00> wich is 2848.

client version difent
look for <bh:24><bh:10><bh:33><bh:00> and as default its .51 change the 33 to chnage it
look for <bh:6a><bh:33><bh:68> and as default its .51 change the 33 to chnage it
