if any 1 haz id relly apreasate it my frends needs it he is wanting to stop WLlog regestraiton hack or if u have any tips for to sopt this hack plz let me know

um we all would love the sources but yet noboady has very few ppl have and they wont give.

ty i alos read u should try changing the wl scoket so we will try tonight thx m8 im wondering if some 1 can tell me how it is done to better understand how stop it its done buy sending packets i know this but what are they sent with and is any to stop program that sends them ??

Don't bother changing your WS name, only thing that will do is screw up your pre-existing character data and stop client's from connecting to your server. From what I've seen juggalo is yet to show any real signs of intelligence. Changing your WS name is good if you find yourself in a situation similar to the following:

You are yet to open your server therefore your database is clean of files (Or if you run a SQL db then you could do a WS name change with account/character data. Change all the fields containing WS1 (Or WS2 etc., depending on what server the character was created from)).
You remember to change the WS name inside the client so people can still connect.

The only real advantage to doing this if you have a good tool to encrypt your client then you may just stop a few client hackers from connecting into the server. They will be able to access their account if logins are still running under WS1. If you changed it to somthing like AAA then their edited client wont be able to access that server.

As for hack methods, I didn't work these out myself so i wont say much about them just incase i piss some people off who worked hard in this field. There are 2 methods for editing characters on servers that i know of. I'm sure there are more, hb is full of exploits. Both pretty much follow 1 method but can be done from 2 programs. The first program being the HG itself, with little recoding you can get your hg connecting to a victim's login server and uploading any data it wishes. Including data for character files. The second method being WPE. This still requires a HG to be connected to the victim's server but WPE offers alternative methods to uploading data into the victim's logins through the HG without any extra programming required. Oops i forgot the 3rd 1, if you're in the mood for some work you can always build your own hb exploiting tool from the ground up. IMO its easier to just use the HG's code as it already has many of the components you need to exploit servers.

EDIT: Just noticed i didnt exactly help you with stopping these hacks lol. I was thinking of one method for those people restricted to basic source access. You could hex your logins to make them save data in a different folder so anyone exploiting your logins wont actualy get their new file in the right place. Then make your HG send the save player packet to the gateserver and code some functions for saving char data inside the gateserver. If you dont fully understand this edit then i dont advise you to be playing with source files.

it is very posable to change the WLS server without cleaning the server...... iv done it ;).. just takes a little hexing.. and changeing it in Client / Main
