An important point.....................
What's working with some router brand.........May not work with another !
(We tryed many configs with a router, without success, then only changing router brand, then it worked OK ....)
Linksys WAG54G annexA works, and another LinkSys (can remember brand) didn't....

yes i agree with Snoopy...you have to have a roiuter that allows dmz and curtain routers will work and some don't...fortunatly i have the wag54g linksys so i can run a server and just allow dmz to the lan ip of my server..works a treat btw i didn have to have inbound..outbound ip's either just staright out lan ip on everything bar the external ip of my internet
hope that helps

not sure if you need to add the game server port "2101" in the routers port forwarding.

Router hosting:
- BeWan 700g: You won't be able to play on LAN & WAn.
- LinkSys WAG354G: You can play WAN & LAN at same time, but some WAN players will be logged out when changing server. (was the same with WAG54G (earlly brand) without last FirmWare)
The issue, here if to see if the routeur will forward LAN request as well. Unfortunatelly this feature is never documented!
Could people tell of router brands that allow Play by WAN AND by LAN at same time here ?

Okay, if you want to find out your ip's go here: Helbreath Shit and go to the downloads page and than scroll all the way to the bottom and click on My Ips. Download this file and heres a picture of what it looks like. The inbound is the Local IP. And the external is the External IP.twistedrealm wrote: how do i find the inbound and outbound ip?
