yes.. you need to run MSSQL if you want to use these chinese files

well... I can give you hexed china 3.72 MainLogserver... but this has no new features in it.. just hexed version number:-P

Yo guys..i been sitting back a bit and watching and learning from you all and i think i might be able to contribute to help...i'm no guru but i do have a little knowledge with running servers etc....

Currently i have both chinese version and GoldenBoys release working up to stage of login in screen...both hg 213 and 521 versions work and i have 3.72 client which works also...i been reading all what you guys have done and i'm truely gratefull as i have made some little mistakes so i'm going to retest everything shortly thnx to you all...i'll post what i get shortly ..

BTW Thnx Morbid for pointing me to the right forum..it had been a while and i didn realise Sexy's forum and here were too totally different forums..lol.It was no wounder i got no help there...loosers anyways i'll keep you posted on how i get on..

Another thing i see you all are basiclly using the cracked eval of sql 2000...i got the personall version and if some of you need it i'll put it on my ftp for the sellect few..

Also IIS is onli available to xp pro and server os's which i can upload alsoeverything from win2k server to win2k3..

I would mind being able to download the srcipts you have all made to check if they do work with my setup but it seems i can't download them...anyone can help on that...
Also once i get things up and going..i can place everything working for people to use on a server and can use it as a test site/server so ppl have a communal point where everyone is actuall working on the same files...good idea or not i'm just trying to point out that ome ppl are uusing old files and some aren't..i have hb shit for africa so if you all need anything just hola an i can upload/send to you

I gotta say with the fix's you all have made my resources are looking really good

as in cpu load was around 90% now it's at idle..

all maps up...

got an idea which i thought could happen... The acc maker that was supplied to make acc's in sql..CCouldn't that be intergrated into the client..? since it basiclly A client making an account?..just a thought...ttyl

Good newz...this works well with DMZ on my router...got it going and all maps up on my server using 3.72 client..just going to update my char to GM status then i'll check items create etc...crusade..etc etc

Running Win2k3 atandard server
P4 2.26 mhz cpu
SQL 2000 sp4
780 ddr ram
thro vnc as i don't have 2 x keyboards,mice etc

and resources are low ...as in like 10%..Nicee..

Server rocks 100% so far just gotta change contents etc and add items etc...so far it looking great..

will let ya ll know ip later so you can test it if you wanna..but use acc maker that is on previous post to make an acc...i'll leave this up for 24 hours to see if you have any probs..

how did you get 3.72 client work on china files???

I just hexed the search.dll file to my ip..

I am having a little trouble tho starting up server..it's real weird but you have to take your time starting it..if you are too fast it won't startup at all..something to think about.Also i'm having trouble with majesty points system and dkset..can anyone help with this??
BTW i'm using the chinese hg as they have the GM commands in it...too lazy to hex the other hg..LOL..

unless someone is willing to upload one so we can download it...CDwriter..? hint..hehe

ok i see where i went wrong with Dkset...got it upgraded to dk+15..

BUT i am having trouble with Angels...it says i need to be a majestic to have angel...i'm guessing that i need to put my id code somewhere so it will work???btw how would you make dkset when u are a normal char with out having to go into db and change this?mm can anyone help with this..
