Alright, so i edited charlie's hacked client and ran it.
Now it says worldserver is not active.
And i just read this how to keep people from hacking thing and Rage suggested to change the ws name, but it's possible to find out the name of it. So how can i find out the name of the worldserver.

//EDIT

1 more thing - where could i get the "black" mapdata (the one with squares).

Oh yea, that spic site stole all my skins without giving me any credit. (I posted those at HBX or that other forum by Jimmy onces) Why I can see it are my skins? Simple, Insomniak skin is divided in three parts, same as I did, because back then I had a shit host with a max file size + the fact it are exactly the same skins I posted, no more, no less. Maybe I'm gonna flood that nooble's emailaddress :o

Ok

Either
1.You put the wrong IP into the client.
Or
2.The server your trying too get on is'nt up.

well.. in default in client is worldlogservers name: WS1, if in the server is some other worllogservers name example: WW1 then your client dows not connect to the right worldlogserver.. and it says that worldserver is not active.. (that is correct.. because there is no active WS1 worldlogserver in the server, there is WW1 worldlogserver not WS1).. so no matter of is it right IP still you can't connect to the server with wrong worldservername... so you can't use edited client, if you don't know the right worldlogserver name...

EDIT: one way is to get this worldserver name from the client that hoster shares.. if the client is packed.. then you need to get it unpacked.. if the hoster is clever.. than you can't unpack its client.. don't know if there is another way to get this worldservers name.. I have one idea in my head.. but never tested it.. and not interested in testing it...

Im pretty sure in his situation he just put something wrong considering his limited knowledge, plus I was gonna wait for his reply and see if he tryed too see if those 2 things I said he had checked, then try and help him with the more annoying stuff.

Packet sniff when the legit client connects and get the world server name that way. Change the world log to match if you want to use that client.

Actually, i have enough knowledge in putting ip's in hb clients lol. The serv is up.
It's the easiest thing ever and I tried resaving/writing the ip aswell, so it's correct.
And i don't really need to unpack the client, just use esearch which takes like 3 secs longer then a normal hex editor ._.
So, let's get back to business, how can i find the name of the worldserver?
Rage, if i have the client then what do i need to search for in it to see the worldserver name... I mean I can't explain it too good so i'll just make it a bit easier :P :

VVV normal client

43h72h69h70hWS1

VVV edited WS client

43h72h69h70hWW1 (here i'd search for 43h72h69h70h to see the name of the worldserver which in this example is WW1)

So, what should i really search for in the actual client?

Thx for reading & trying to understand ^________^
