Indeed. Nice ideas, just learn how to impliment them better and more appealing. Balance it all out and think it through, then when your 100% possitive you have something someone would spend there time on, ask people who hate the idea to try it. [/quote]
Ever since nova i've realised game balance is the key. I'm not flat out saying hb2 will die in the ass I'm just saying it doesnt seem there has been alot of thought gone into their features and how it will affect game play. There is a spell that kills anyone who will cast on you, jails them and mutes them while giving you amp and berserk for 3 minutes along with a full heal. That by itself is no way to try and revamp HB. Looks to me more like unbalancing of skills between classes. You should not have an over powered class, it isnt right.

error n°1 : it doesnt kill everyone who casts on u. -> it may get replaced
error n°2 : all classes skills are equal, the outcome of the duel is how u master the skill, when do i eat pot when do i use skill?

Off course HB2 will be dead if u hackers all go focus on hacking it and shit like that.

This server isn't based on just lvling, no a good player will have to train alchemy/blacksmithing etc as well becuz u can make some unique things with it, wich can only be worn by the person who makes them.

So a lvl 180 player wich just went on training will most likely loose against a lvl 180 player wich trained fishing/mining/blacksmithing.
Unless the first one has uberitems.

Now HBX hurry up with those source files

so that we can add some graphics. instead of party healths in texts it could go in nice boxes.
and as a questreward that it shows the pic of the weapon/armor/shield etc that u will receive.

Hmm well dunno anything about quest of the holy grail, i only heard the name nova drop once in a while,

About site :Why does it say this is a testsite?
Becuz the complete site isnt done yet, and it will go up when the server will launch.

And the work of 6 months. Well we got a life. We got exams,school and stuff like that. Well sure the server can be made alot better but we never learned coding in school or nor issit our job or something. So don't start flaming us already. I sure hope the 3.51 sources will come out so there can be made alot of unique monsters for quests (like in WoW). And so alot of new effects can be added. And we aren't really trying to revamp hb because it's mostly death already (thx WoW/GW !). Nor we aim for the huge amount of players, most players out there are hackers or pvp die hard noobs who keep saying

Even tough this means less people for the server. At least u got the feeling that u done a good thing instead of people whining all the time. Just check the forums of 1 pvp server (its full with crap).

Sure Dax/Hypno/KLKS/Q/Cleroth/...sry for the ones i havent named
are most likely better coders than we are for the moment.

I think you should flame other servers wich just downloaded hbss files instead.

First things first, I cannot post all data about helbreath 2 on the site, i coded alot, tested alot and balanced everything up.

I only posted info on the basic important updates.

the basic classes are edited and after a few test periods i decided to delete a few because of the incompetence.

Besides the Sacrifice Spell info on the site contains the basic concept. The current state doesn't and never will contain mute + lock. It is created for the purpose to help other players when you cannot help at any other way. Besides it's your own choice to sacrifice yourself.

I thought of a main concept about anti-hack. I got a few friends which told me how to block DDozing and hacked clients are pretty easy to avoid.

There won't be a beta test for no reason, while beta testing all the bugs will be fixed and updates shall be added.

Dax I never stole your idea, I don't know you and don't want to steal another person's ideas. I want Helbreath 2 to be unique!

It is very weak to flame my work before you even tryed it.

It's logical that some people like it and some people don't, We offer place for the ones who will have a great time.
