hey im not asking to give me the answers (unless you want to lol), and i see where you guys are coming from with getting sick of just telling people how to do things instead of them learning on their own, so plz dont just call me a noob and other stuff :(

but could anyone just point me in the right direction, or give me a couple keywords on how to crash an hgserver, and then i could actually learn it on my own :)

thx

technically you are asking us... and use the search key feature that almost EVERY forum has... i'm sure you sohuld be familiar on how ot use it

also.. if you don't understand how the helbreath server files are properly run... then don't bother.. (hosting a server doesn't mean jack shit)

i found the packet that is sent to the hgserver to make iit shutdown itself, but is it possible to replicate it and send it from a remote computer, or will it only work when being sent from the gateserver???

im trying my best to figure this stuff out, ive been through about 30 different ways of trying it but no luck

what would i have to do to figure this out???

look into the code???

or is it something obvious

im learning buffer overflows right now to see if maybe i can create one because i know some C++ and it seems like an exploit is the ony way, but could you guys at least tell me if your method is a buffer overflow or not :)
