aspack wont' help much considering its too popular of a packer and it'll be easier to unpack

find the prog that hbinter used to pack the new clients

but even if you packed the client and hid the IP and such its still simple to get the IP and use an edited client already and somebody would prolly end up finding the world server name anyways and releasing a client like moonrite and suc...you could pack it but...anybody that has an edited client or knows how to edit a client prolly got it from here anyways so once one is released everyone has it =/ I would just rely on the hack logs and ban the ppl in them if its accurate....hbx has to much protection on the new ones that my friend got banned for "t search skill hack" lol because he equipped sword and then wand really quick and critted with it, the HG server read it as cheating to get 100% wand and use crits with it and they banned him for that becuz they are a noob server and he could kill their GM player chars

no offence or anything but...you can pack the client as much as you want, people can get the IP and such...I guess it might work if you were trying to hide the world log name or whatever but Ip can be found way too easily

y dont u make a dummy client, put it on here and let ppl try n see if they can get the ip, atleast then u will know....at least it will b a dummy ip

no matter what people can always netstat and then if required tracerout back to the server

i know a way to make the IP unable to be found out, even to experienced hackers, but im still working on implementing it with the client

u can pack the client as much u want.ppl can do is just login the your server goto command prompt and type netstat and ur ip will be there?
