This is the sad thing, is that people out there search for people to host heir servers because they are lazy, and know nothing about computers (usually)

I agreed to host an hb server for somone, and he did nothing, but wanted everything. He claimed to be the servers owner, yet did nothing. All he did was run the website, which he rarely updated, and often was screwed up. After all the work I did to get the server up and running (and a few nice bonus i hexed in) he wanted him and his friends all to be GMs... making the whole server gms, boring as hell! He also didn't bring in any new users, and he just pissed me off... so i quit.

What I'm getting at is that these ppl who r looking for hosters, host yourself. It's not like the files are not easily found to host. For gods sake they're all over the web. Host yourself or go away, no one wants to be your little slave

i dont know how a guy can come to a forumand ask for someone to host the server...
cmon, u have to have trustable hosters and those one doesnt are in forums, they are ppl that u really know for long time
im my case, i have my servr (yesterday i put it up, test server mode) and we are 2 GMs (i dont like GMs, they dont do a shit, why would i need them? i just made all the job) and we are 4 hosters... the 2 other guys i know them for a lot of time and helped me test when i was making the server... they offer me to help hosting cus they can, and they dont ask for GMs... but if they ask for it i will give them cus they are really friend of mine and trustable persons...
what do u think if u want a serious server and come to the forum to find a guy that host and u dont know him?
doing this, everyone see that ur server isnt serious... never go to these servers and use ur real pws...

nah, dont need, they host for free and nice pcs (2gb ram, 1mb connection, pentium 3+).... B)

I have hosted server named hbkiller , helped their files but they treated me like shit ! i quit >.<

The way i look at is there are alot of private hbserver out there for people to play on. why the hell you want to start a next server and cannot put the work and time into it is beyond me. to run a server is alot of work.
it pisses me of so bad people should think about the players more and think before just open a server because so many just close because they never new the work it takes to run one. then what happens to all the players that have lvl so hard shit as now they got to do it all again.

if you are going to open a server then

1. make sure you have the time to put into it.
2. if you want to run a good server this can cost money to get a good server to run the game on so the players have a good game. i know this i pay alot each month for the server that runs my game. and
also the cost for my websites.
3. its not just about running the server its about making sure you have good coders to add new code and fix bugs etc if you are running your server of upgraded code. make sure you have a good team you will need them.
4. take some time and think about what you really want from running a server if it just to say i own the server or to be a gm then sorry you should think very hard about running one.
