what will stop the log socket connecting to stop at 9?

close the program, then run it again

check the configuration files of each server, check that the IPs are correct.
Also check if the server gives any kind of error message when you run hgserver.
And check if your firewall its allowing the conection.

rebooting your pc may help as well.. its what i needed to so with my old pc..

disable ur windows xp firewall (if u have it)

all that has been done everything is correct in configs. Only thing i can think of is i have windows SP2

ya, its ur xp sp2 firewall for sure... just disable it and initiate server...
if it doesnt work... doesnt go play hb nemesis :lol:

build-date = [NUMBER]
in gateserver.cfg is wrong. Open your hgserver, look at the caption of the window, something like
"Helbreath GameServer v[version].[version2] [build] (Executed at [...]"
Just put in [NUMBER] of the cfg the build number of the hgserver

the build is correct all server files are but it just don't work.
