Hi, i am currently going throught the 2.03 server source, trying to find the code that is used to create a new account. So far i have only found a define of createnewaccount. So i wanted to ask, if the account creation is even in the code in the 2.03 source.

my guess is you want the code to make a 3.51 client work like a 2.02 client, well good luck with that lol. the best your going to get with 3.51/3.2 is editing the link attached to New Account button and make it goto your account maker script.

for the attached link search \shell\open\command in the client and edit the url.

No, actually i wanted to know what messages the login server expects to recive from a client to make a new account.

why dont you start with the 2.14 source which is like x50 better

That wont make much diffrence, beacouse its only source for HGserver, and the account is created probably on some other *.exe file. :P

The account is created in the WorldServer not in the GameServer.

If you use the open beta client you can make an account with it (so WorldServer is not "closed" to new accounts, but the client).

I cant tell you what messages the client send, but I might send you the open beta client (if you cant find one).

Yes, that's why i was wondering, what info does the open beta client send to the log server. And i have it thanks, but i don't know how to catch the messages it sends and recives on account creation.

Use a packet sniffer or a firewall that allows that.
