Prob with Monitor

When i enter a game with 800x600 resolution then monitors horizontal frequency drops to 37Khz and Vertical to 75Khz, i tried changing the Screen Refresh Rate, changed that to 85Khz and still i had the problem, i downloaded driver update, didnt work, downloaded VIA 4in1 Drivers, still didn't work and now i'm out of ideas.

firstly what sort of video card do you have (the better the video card the better refresh rates and resolutions you can do)

secondly do you have any progams installed that alter the display settings, if so then you will need to alter the program to change the res and hertz frequency, eg i have mine set for 100 hz whenever it goes into 800x600 (games just look cooler in 100 hz)

100 hz + DirectX 9 based video card (such as GeForce FX series) = Very nice graphics

run every game in 100 flat fps and it just look sooo purrrty
