I had to make it windowed because on my computer, fullscreen opengl usually fucks up my graphics.. most games do actually. gay ass x64 windows. oh well. So I just made it windowed. It's not as cool windowed but it still works.
Controls are:
Up/Down arrows control the speed the particles travel making the fire effect effectively taller or shorter.
Left/right arrows control the width.
Up/Down/Left/Right on the numpad (with numlock on) control the gravity which allows you to create generic wind (left/right) or gravity (up/down)
It's set at 10000 particles which is way more than it would have if implemented anywhere. A lot of these effects firing at once with 10000 would create quite some lag. Ultimately the same effect could be generated with around 1000 and still look pretty much the same.
Orkl. We need to get together and swap ideas. I would definately help stick a better particle gen inside HB. (the current one for rain/snow is rather lame.. too basic and limited).

^^ rainbow particle which is the basis of the system.
I set one up to also create a spark like effect.. when you click yellow particles dart out making it look like sparks. It's rather crude but kinda cool ^^
