Just an extract of a PM received from Lopo......anyways was just wondering if you ever thought of merging with another server....i need a decent coder and from what i can tell...
I answered before seeing this "double server" (Screns from Apoc AND Abaddon), just noticing supposed 3.72+ client. (Without an non crypted client I can do very little) and a very familliar "Tower shield of the Bard"...

A few changes? some changes may be few in your mind, but a complete spoil in my mind...
I have a computer dedicated to the server, and if tomarrow I had 300 players, my current line would do fine. Nevermind I could myself pay for a real dedicated server if need arose.
Oh, we played 17 mounths whitout needing a wipe...

Maybe not everybody have the same feeling about what's a good server, and what is the best server...
Some player only think PvP, and are only eager for easy XP to grow fast a good PvP character.
Some players don't bother PvP (out off crusade/Heldenian) and would not accept to give Free EK all day long (and maybe their best items on some servers)
I tryed once to have my server concept hosted far, and spent toooooooooo much time explaining that the little changes made by the hoster (and close relatives) where bad. I was obliged to retire in a matter of weeks, as the server became the same as many server are...
This host lasted 5 weeks...
The hoster lost players, then found HB-Red and invitated everybody to go there. I went to see there and discovered HB-Red used many of tmy tools (Eggs, drop rate....) I gave him The Revival 2 server files.
HB-Red dyed of hackers (v2.191 is poorlly protected) and been too much PvP only.
Now this former hoster plays EP...
My aim is not to be a coder for some far away server. I consider my coding part is not the most important in EP.
Of course without my thousands hours spent coding & hacking, EP would not be EP, but the most important part, and the most difficult, is to tweak the damage of a weapon or the AP & PA of an armor, and its price...
Same is true for most aspects of this HB game, and that is THE difficult part...
And there, giving my server to someone else would mean giving up THIS part, the part I consideer the most important.
I do not host for the pleasure of hosting, neither to be a GM. I only host to be free, free to improve this game.
