Hey, just wanted to ask if anyone has bothered converting the source into a Dev C++ project?

To clarify, i would like to know if anyone on this forum has successfully converted the Visual Studio project into a Dev C++(http://www.bloodshed.net/) project that compiles correctly.

I like the IDE and as i recall Visual Studio took a lot of disk space.

I don't know, I read a few sites and a few of them said pretty much the same thing and that was:

Visual Studio>Dev C++

So we may be taking a step back instead of forward. Then again, I'm not to sure have a look around.

Well, on the plus side Dev C++ is also easier to get ahold of.

don't be a cockhead - If you have the knowledge of C++ surely you can use Torrents, it's not that fucking hard. It may be easier to get a hold of and as i said that's because it's open source, it's fucking free dipshit. But if you want something that will work better than shitty Dev C++ then get your ass to a torrent site and find it.

If it's so much better could you please list the things that make it better in your opinion since you've apparently used both?

As I said above I don't know much about the differences, etc. But I have read that it's suppose to be better than Dev C++ and if you don't believe me I'll post you a link.

Myself, I don't mind DevC++ it's good for what I need to program. But I think it's usage is limited.
