The Way To Host Behind Router!

Ok, i'm correcting you,This definitely works and yes i can connect and play from my computer at work over the internet.
what i have noticed is that the "Game-Server-Mode" seems to work the opposite to the way it should,
ie, to allow other people to connect over the internet you need to set LAN mode in the hgerver.cfg.
The whole idea of "port fowarding" is that the router recieves internet traffic and fowards the it to your internal IP.

I double checked today and yes it works.

I take it 192.168.1.2 is your internall IP,put this ip in all the cfg
only put the external ip in the hg cfg where it says external ip

all the other servers work..when i start Hgserver it loads, but before it loads the map it gives me a contents error in the cfg file? holp

k so i fixed the problem..when i run the HGSERVER for elvine, it connects and then it says "gate-server crashed" critical error... i dunno wtf is wrong wit it..i copied the settings that were posted at the start of the post..and i did enable dmz and added my computer to it..help pls

what do i IP put on DMZ?? internal or external??
and what about the client??

you dont need dmz,just port forwarding for the relevent ports.
on your own computr you can use either internal OR external ip in the client,
other people will have to use the external ip.
If all is working as it should the router should receive the external and reroute it to your internal ip.

i can join in the game but outside ppl cant join my game...

This does not work for the Orginal MSSQL 361 files....only HBX files

man i still got a problem....
i can only get in the games and outside of ppl cannot join my server....
when they try to login they get time out....
i put all internal ip and i put external ip in external line.
all port are foward.
the ip in client is external ip. (i cant login even outside cant login)
i can only use internal ip client to get in games.
is there any problem?
