Hi i understand hosting behind router need some port forwarding
can anyone tell me what ports to forward ? and most importantly the TCP or UDP.

i tried these :

gate-server-port = 6502 (TCP & UDP)
game-server-port = 2101 (TCP & UDP)
internal-log-server-port = 3840 (TCP & UDP)
world-server-port = 2500 (TCP & UDP)
main-log-server-port = 2848 (TCP & UDP)
game-server-port = 9902 (TCP & UDP)

 (IT DIDN"T WORK)

world-server-port = 2500 (TCP & UDP) Needed for chnageing maps
main-log-server-port = 2848 (TCP & UDP) Needed to Login

game-server-port = 9902 (TCP & UDP) Needed for client to connect to maps

i find on home routers it sumtimes takes ages for the ports you open to work properly with virtual server
if you have a function called UnPnP port falwarding use this as this is instant and more hardware baised falwarding while the virtual server port falward is more software baised

go to http://192.168.1.1 or http:192.168.1.2 or 192.168.2.2
and change routering to bridge.. IF you dont have other computer on internet!

How would your HG look like if its a diff PC but behind the same router? cuz the main IP is shared by 2 comps, what it does is it say "Connected. Waiting for response..." Any idea guys?

Eh sry for asking guys, i got it, but if any1 needs it,
in the port forwarding change the HG's IP, (example: 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.101<pc ur hosting it on), then:

[CONFIG]
gate-server-dns = false
log-server-dns = false
game-server-mode = LAN
game-server-name = Elvine
game-server-port = 5555
game-server-address = 192.168.0.101
game-server-internal-address = 192.168.0.101
game-server-external-address = 55.55.55.55
log-server-address = 192.168.0.100
internal-log-server-port = 6250
gate-server-address = 192.168.0.100
gate-server-port = 6502
[MAPS]

game-server-map = elvine

Hope this makes sense.

You guys must be stupid. If you have it setup for INTERNET, only you can connect, because YOUR hosting it on the same PC your trying to Connect with. If its LAN, others will be able to connect and not you. (On that specific computer which the files are hosted). So basically you need two computers to host + play on your server. I thought Jimmy fixed this. Must bug him about it now... If that doesn't work. Send me and Email and I'll see what I can do.
