2.20 Client Source + 2.20 Hg Server Source

Yes indeed, but if people dont post their codes, what's the purpose of open-source? Make a few noobs bow to those who release the files?

I'm not saying I'm against open-source, I'm all the way for it, I just think that it was not the case, seems to me more like another "Hey! I'm cool, fuck the people who haven't released the files!" case.

It just shows another thing, somebody told me once that Mag didn't trust me to code the client source for him. But instead, I have my own 2.20 client/gate/hg source that a friend gave to me and asked not to release, and no one else had the files, at least from me. Then Mag goes and give you his sources, what happens? Yes, he trusted the right person...

The version i posted was NOT from mag, i have recived it from another person.. I hold true to my word.

Mag asked me not to give it out.. and i dident

As for my other resource.. He dident care. so be it

Now with some good coders and 1 graphics / sounds developer stuff can change a lot, I mean people should forget HB, rules, game play, etc.. is just OLD and bad... you guys should do a better gamer, there is enough SRC out to make whatever.

Hey goldenboy, let's keep the "flaming" to ourself shall we? Just like you told me not to flame, why don't you take your own advice. I didn't get fucked by this. It WILL ruin the community, but it may just as well help HBx dev.

This 2.20 is the one khalil sold to "that team". I'm sure they feel stupid now having paid all that just for the code to get spread everywhere.

Luckily 2.20 client, even modified, cannot connect to 3.7+ official servers due to the md5 hashing scheme, so not all is lost for HB yet...only for private servers. And I am glad I am the only one who has anything better than that. Why? Because I worked to get it myself. And i share only with Darkieduck.

Anyway, I am working on my own legit game now, and if HB does get fatally wounded, maybe those players will come to my game ^-^

MOG honestly I think you are half right, people will have to waste a lot of time to adapt this client to 3.8+ stuff, but is posible, (expecially when some people cracked the MD5 Step already, like BlindHk) but, like you said, this can allow people to change the game, and make new games (legit)....

I think people is just not seeing the good of this action. People stops in "hacks" "antichacks" when they should see further, changes, graphs, sound... HB is a Shit, thats a fact. Skill system, manufacturing ..alchemy... npc IA, well all the fucking game is gay...

In addiction, pak graph system is easy to handle, no ogl to fight with..

This was already happening. All the people who could dev already had the source. Now all these people who think they know C++ got it and prolly just gonna make hacks because its a shit load easier then making a new game. Anyway its no biggie, anti-hacks are easily made. For those that cant code anti-hacks then haha bye2u. Survival of the fittest. But maybe you are right, maybe there was someone who needed the source that now has it.

In my opinion this is the best thing to happen to HB. Finaly all these retard servers will die and only the good ones will stay ontop. As for HBRED, well as mag said, it had to die somehow. I hate to say it but you deserve it because you were the main cause of this leak. If it was never sent to daryl in the first place then all would still be good.

If HB was a democracy then yes it is bad as the majority of servers will die as a resault. As for those that can code (At the moment HBMT is the only server with a good coder) it is great. As for me i'm just sitting back waiting for the fun to start.
