I started coding my skill system using similar magic weapons src, but i started before it posted here. Now im so far oll 16 skills are completed.

Well hola, as far as I know you just used the sources from hbb lol. That means that Dax released them a lil earlier :rolleyes:. Besides.. You're working on one hell of a strange project in my eyes!

I think his project is a good idea... We were talking about a similar idea with Dax, but with many more features.

For exemple, special abilities are shown in a book and not only with some ugly text... It works with ability points that you have when you level up, you can learn abilities from a master and then you can raise your ability level with a trainer.

Books, trainers and skills are differents for all classes (6 Classes, total of 31 differents Abilities)

Of course that's not 100% coded by far but you can see <a href='http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/3692 ... st18hy.jpg' target='_blank'>an exemple here</a>.

Strange but all of the skill are working by now, except bash, that is working to but sometime that crushes my hg. Afcoz it is shown in ugly txt cuz i dont have client source, and to much work with hb2 client source i except, i even havent compiled hb2 client source yet

Of course YES... why wouldn't we add some new stuff into a dead game ? We just propose to players some new ways to play helbreath. They can play or not as they want.

I'm currently not coding for any server. I'm only helping Snoopy and Locobans but i'm not full time coder of a server.

Yes diuuude, we're also working out alot of things. I just think those ability effects are rather strange, sorry for my opinion.

Anyway.. That ability system is nice, we at hb2 made a similar concept, it's just not important enough at the moment to start working about it.

Oh... i didn't see you were talking about effects...

You're right, that's strange and i thinks it's ugly and useless to add spell effects to abilities...

Abilities is a good project and can be a great new feature in Helbreath but in my point of view, instead of adding spell effects when you use an ability he'd have better time to create new auras like hero aurras... That's just my opinion.

By the way Shetar, can i take a look at your sprite for the Mail dialog boxes from Helbreath2 ?
