first.. go to start..and go to control panel then push network and internet connections then push network connections.. it depends on what type of connection you have.. if you have LAN or higher otherwise in saying anything thats faster than dial-up.. well anyways the active conenction will be in color any other useless connections will be in a tinted color. then right click your active connection and then go to properties...look at the top there should be some tabs...then push the advanced tab and then uncheck "Internet Connection Firewall" .. then push ok.. it should take some time to take affect.. you may need to reboot oyur computer and connection..
if that still doesn't work and you are using winodows xp.. then its like what ghost said running from a router coudl bea problem .. because i do not know much about routers... :rolleyes:
