even if everyone has the files... they won;t know how to use em ... heh. because.. they need to know the sql ;p ... without it they can't propperly run the characters and accounts... so only about 1/3 will know how and the rest will go around posting in every hb forum how to setup a DB .. which will in thus spread the files even more.. causing there to be more than a few 3.0 servers which will lead to the same fate as 2.191 & 2.20 ... i guess there's nothing to worry about cause by then 4.5 - 5.0 will be out

or maybe sooner

i think it was 2.95 and up that started to use sql. sql will use alittle more resources but will be a advantage in the long run. totaly understand ur situation on the dial up issue. thank god its been years for since i've had to use it.
