Steps:
<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>1. Click on run>cmd>ipconfig>
- Write down your IP Address and your DNS Suffix (Ex. rogers.phub.com)
2. Go into your C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc folder and open "hosts" with notepad.
Add in your internal IP Address and your DNS Suffix beside it.
3. Forward the port 4001 on your computer's Router IP Address.
4. Go into C:\Program Files\EasyPHP1-8\conf_files and open the file "httpd" with notepad.
- Press ctrl+f and search for 127.0 and you should see 127.0.0.0.1:80. Replace that with
your internal IP Address followed by the port you opened(4001) so it will look like
192.168.1.100:4001. (192.168.1.100 is my computer's IP Address).
- Press ctrl+f again and search for 127.0 and replace the 127.0.0.0.1 with your internal
IP Address (192.168.1.100 in my case), Search it again and replace it with your internal
IP Address.
5. Go into your C:\Program Files\EasyPHP1-8\apache\conf folder and open the file "httpd" with Notepad. Search for "127.0" and you will see "127.0.0.0.1:80". Replace that with your Internal IP Address followed by your port, so it will look like "192.168.1.100:4001" in my case.
- Press Ctrl+F and search for 127.0 and you will see 127.0.0.0.1, replace it with your Internal IP Address. Press Ctrl+F again and search for 127.0 and replace it with your
Internal IP Address. Save the Files and place your helbreath PHP scripts into your
C:\Program Files\EasyPHP1-8\www folder and run EasyPHP.exe.
6. If you want to view your PHP's. Go to <a href='http://www.whatismyip.com' target='_blank'>http://www.whatismyip.com</a> and write down your External Ip Address ( The IP Address in bold numbers ). And in your browser type your external IP Address with your port number at the end like this:
<a href='http://ExternalIpAddress:4001/Top10.php' target='_blank'>http://ExternalIpAddress:4001/Top10.php</a> for example.
Another example would be
<a href='http://74.166.111.12:4001/AccMaker.php' target='_blank'>http://74.166.111.12:4001/AccMaker.php</a>

I don't see a reason to edit the hosts file at all. I've been running apache for years without touching my hosts file.

this is good and all but there are a select few routers that will not work this way.... you have to edit it a bit different to get them to work.DeathFangX wrote:Are you running it behind a router? I've always used a router, never had any problems at all.DeathFangX wrote:Are you running it behind a router? Some routers require you to edit it.Orkl wrote: I don't see a reason to edit the hosts file at all. I've been running apache for years without touching my hosts file.

It won't work outside of my network, only the pcs behind my router can use the account creators, etc.
I've forwarded the ports and used the right IP's.
[Quoted from Juggalo Q&A]
Game-server-mode = LAN
Right now i cant connect by using this.
i will get Past the login screen onto character Selection and once double
clicked the char i want. it will stay on connecting. What is going on here.
Why isnt it giving the all clear like it should be? Whats causing this
bastard to not send me a signal back telling me i can now connect.
just the same way as when i try to connect using INTERNET Setup.
A: players use ur external ip in cleint.
You use ur internal ip for client.
Some router will let u use ur external ip. but most dont
This cannot work and is not possible to host and play behind a router using LAN mode which is required for others to play Just wanted to point that out, is false information.
lucky we can use pcs outside the hosting network
