worldserver shutdown from external adress ?

how is it possible to shutdown the wl server from external adresses ?
i get this message in ml log window : worldserver(wlname) Shutdown!
the wl or ml dont get closed but ppl arent able to connect to gameserver anymore !
what hack is that ?
and how can i prevent that ?

very funny ...
im not that stupid sry .. i run that server for nearly 1 year now ..
and now this argentina guy pops up .. hes able to edit his chars and shut down wl server ...
im using patched ml server and wl patch against exstasis ..

why don't you use wl source?

give me some wl source that isnt bugged ?

with the wl source that klks and hypno made i always get bugs like char in use and other strange things ...
and im not sure if that would fix this problem .. i dont even know how hes doing that ...

ok now i can confirm there is some new kind of extasis hack .. on hbusa the wl server will shutdown if someone tries that .. read hbusa forums and u will see that they having that problems !

hb usa is not portected from the exist hack at all u call crash them with the 4-1 hack out already

The past few days of server downs (resets) has been due to attacks on our server. This has affected each and every one of us and is not something that IEntertainment will take lightly. We’re in the process of taking the necessary steps to ensure that nothing like this happens again, including contacting ISPs, FBI and Siementech doing what ever else we can.

Sadly though, this has resulted in several account bans as “net” was cast in order to bring out the person(s) who was abusing our services. Some innocent people have been included in the bans and we’re working on clearing them up. If you’re unable to access our web site or the game, your account could be one of them.

If you’re experiencing such a problem please have them email gamemaster@helbreathusa.com. Make the heading of the email “Helbreath USA: Unable to connect”

Will need the following information:
- your full name,
- account name,
- who has access to your account,
- where you play Helbreath (including the business name if it’s a cyber café)
- the IP of each place and person who has access to the account.

Due to the nature of the service going down due to an attack on the server we are unable to offer experience or any form of compensation. It was deemed by the powers that be, that while we acknowledge that there was down time in service and server accessibility it was not due to a hardware fault or something that IEntertainment had faulted on. We realize that players have missed valuable training time, we hope to minimize this in the future.

We are working as quickly as possible in order to fix the problem.

Please bear with us as we secure the server.

Juggalo is right. Someone told us about this awhile back. USA still thinks their invincible, tough break for them but their not. I could name 5-10 people, that could own USA in less than a day.

You aren't god tommy. I know people who can do such things as well but I don't go around bragging. No one gives a shit about what you think of yourself. You can stop trying to force an image of yourself on other people. I highly doubt you even have 5-10 people you can call a friend.
