Ok Where do i start..hmm :P

1. CTF Event <Just an event really except Elvine = blue | ares = Red, So natrualy We have A Map Made for Ctf events "Which IM Making as we speak" And there ya go. Also add the ek announcer in but change the script a lil, So it tells you who captured the flag :) !Enemy Flag carrier is here! Unreal FTW!

2. I dont know how you guys will take this idea, But i helped build this script in eAthena.."Ragnarok" So natrualy it would be a great idea to have it on helbreath also seeing as how it caught on preety fast a few people out there enjoyed it. Its basicly players = monsters. the more experience you earn is based on the more humans you kill and of course the more powerful you become. How this works: A PvP Event is held, The winning side Ares/elv Obtain the "Morph" Spell in there Spell-list, This would be done by using the Admin command for morph usualy. However During this Event the morph command becomes avalible to Players on the Winning Towns team.

Question: Why would i want to be a monster??

Answer:

Because each monster has unique Based properties, For example "Stone Golem" Slow, However is basicly a Tank it will take a few wars to down it when you morph into this enemy, However its Vunrable to magic. another example.. "Beholder" Each hit you do Will freeze the enemy and has a 10% chance increase of landing a Critical, the Beholder is based on magic So natrualy its Weak Vs Pysical attacks.

Question: Can i turn into Abaddon?

Answer: No you bloody well cant! :D


Question Can i turn into a Fire Wyvern??

Answer

Get leveling! When the "Morph" spell Becomes avalible due to ur town winning the event,
Each time you Morph and turn into an enemy the experience you earn will be Totaly Devoted to the monster you Turn into. This means no Exp while in this form. However you will be earning experience for the monster, Thus Everytime your monster levels up The more chance of turning into a much higher level monster you will have.


3. As we all know Speedhacks are used on helbreath alot. Even the official servers cannot stop them, This is due to many people out there creating these programme's Everyday. and so I mention one of the most used speedhacks in helbreath History "Speedgear" Speedgear is a programme that was made genraly for Speeding up windows applications "Yes that include's helbreath" Now many people out there said Helbreath usa had a speed cap. This is true it does have a speed-cap .. but if you open up your client in a hex editor you will find out that it has only a few General protections against speedhacks. The exe is specified in the client for example "Speeder.exe" So when this application is running. it will either Boot you out of the game by Exiting the Helbreath's window or in some cases if the speed is to high, Lock up your computer. it doesnt matter how much memmory you have or the speed of your computer. it Does this to everyone. The way to fix it is this. We Create an auto-updater for our Private usage. And unlike Siementech we actualy update it atleast once a week. now alot of you out there, know of speedhacks like Speedgear that can be used on helbreath. and you know this would be the perfect way to block them all from ur server permantly. Each Client that connects-there Executable is patched and updated with Alot more information on a speedhacks name .. the name is the key to putting speedhacking to an end since it will not except that process interfiering with Helbreath. And without patching.. there not going to be able to play, Since a checkup of the executable can be done to check if they are using a legit version and not just some cheap copy. The check can be measured in Byte-size, If they try and use a client that is Not legit and bypass the patch server and manage to get in still, A flag can be put up to stop them in there tracks. anyways please tell me your opinions of my idea's Ty for reading :P

Alot of good of course, this system was long ago thought by a Polish guy, Hankzar. It's working since fall on Equilibrium Project on a modifyed Siementec client 351.
Of course, now, using own coded client the system is even better...

There is many weapons againts Speedhacks (I will not be too precise to prevent wouldbe speedhackers to design an easy workaround):
-1- Client checking for well known speedhacks exe names. (by Siementec)
but easy workarounds, either mod the exe, or mod the client,
---> response: crypt the client.
---> response: crypt the speehack's exe name in client.
---> response: detect speedhack task's name instead of exe name.
---> response: prevent client's mods, even in memory.
---> possible response: detect speedhack behaviour on windows. (not investigated)

-2- Client "speedcap" by Siementec
Working very poorlly and easy to change as above (existing hacks for 351 version)
Client timing is really strange, and actually some people CAN run a little faster than others, without need to Speedhack.
---> Response there would mean a whole client rewrite...

-3- Server side detection by Siementec
Very weak detection system, because very very subject too lags, thougth detecting many falses speedhacks for palyers with big pings, making the game unplayable for them.
---> Response: Build a real server side Speedhack detection system.

The Siementec system can be easelly improved, reducing drastically the false detections.
The starting point is that Siementec did a silly choice for a key value to SpeedHack detection, though rendering useless any serious detection attempt. Then they implemented functions in client, that could easelly help alot for SpeedHack detection, but Server side was not implemented.

Technically on Equilibrium Project, the Logs will tell many things:
(2005: 12:2:12:10) - Cn :  PC(XXXXX) (C:6642ms S:5331ms E:7000ms) - SpeedHack +24%. (Delayed)  IP(0.0.0.0)

1. Siementech never once tried to fix it
2. Even private servers cant fully stop it
3. The most common speed hack that was released hasnt been ever recoded.

SO is it possible to stop speedhacking?

AND is it possible to edit the client that it has a max-packet speed for each packet?

And putting the cast speed limit (banning to bi by hg-server) helps a lot.
