The Story Behind The Leak

Brief history

Nick and Sandra run HBMystical, they obtained the 2.20 client, gate and hgserver source from Khali (Not verified if other source exists(I think that will do for this part, not sure on how in depth im allowed to go)) Primeval joined their development group who also was given the sources. After Primeval had a sudden attack of PMS he left HBMystical to "help" HBRED (Mag). He then gave the sources to Mag. Mag displaying his only act of stupidity then gave the sources to Daryl thinking Daryl could code (No comment needed). Daryl being the code illiterate person he is soon realised he was worthless and could do nothing with such sources.

Primeval obviously let the sources go further then Mag because there were a few more people with it, i'm just telling you the line the leak took.

Where I come in(The part of the story i know best)

I had also obtained such sources from an annoymous source and Daryl caught wind of it, being the begging whining little bitch he is he obviously came running with his hands out. Daryl denied ever having the sources because Daryl being the drop kick he is thought his files were bugged and wanted mine because i had them working fine. After Daryl asked me for files from the client such as game.cpp/h since he still thought his were bugged and i said no once again he then told me had the client source but it was bugged. This went on for a week or so till Daryl formulated the worst plan i've seen ever put to action in my life, good old Johny Howard could of done it better. Daryl decided since if his name was directly attached to the leak i would lose all respect for him and he would not get anything off me, so he did the second best thing, made Chief take the fall. His plan was to have the files leaked so they would appear worthless therefore devaluing mine then asked me for Ayres' latest login source along with my files since his files to him were still "bugged". As soon as i saw the files were leaked i knew who it was, without confirmation i confronted him and said i knew it was him. He then did his hero post opensource2win to try and win some recognition for backfired plan.

The moral of the story is Daryl is a snake, he is not to be trusted with a txt file let alone source files, he will cross anyone to get what he wants. This is the story of the leak as i saw it and has been confirmed by other people.

Sources are the same Daryl. The bug was not your sources, it was your inability to compile them properly. The ones from this forum (yours apparently) I got to compile just fine, so is it really the sources fault? As for your coding ability, I can copy paste too. It's easy to learn basics by trial and error, but that doesn't mean you know everything and can code anything. Yes, I posted what I did on my forum, but mind you 2.20 is 2.20 and it's what was released already, or has been out there. There are two 2.20's yes, but both what I have and you had were the same.

And what's this on you releasing because of me? How do I come into play in your decision on you relasing? I'd like to hear that.

Yes i agree, you never posted 1 bad thing, you just made a mistake in thinking i was as stupid as you. I really wouldnt of minded if you had of come out and said "yes i released the files" but denying it then trying to get my files after that, i've lost all respect for you Daryl.

When i compiled your "buggy" source you sent me i found it so funny i didnt even tell you that you were sitting on the real thing, you probably still dont realise even with a post saying so sitting right infront of your face.

As for the copy on Jimmy's forum, buy some glasses, its the same shit you retard.

First off Jimmy,

I never said I knew everything, yea i am still learning C++, hell every C++ coder is still learning... But just couse i am learning dont mean i cant code.

As far as you being the key factor in me releasing the source.

The night before all this took place, You was ascting like you was the king of the world, Badass of badasses.. Just couse you had the client source, and other related files. I got sick of your attitude, you thinking your a god, couse you got access to these files. And (reading post and such on forums made by you) That you Might, or might not release the source..

Dood, you dont play with people like that. Eather do something or dont.. Learn to grow up, and (heres a scary thought) Be a man, take responsibilty, Hummm (Dax that goes to you as well)

So, With that said, yea you and your attitude (and help from Dax's attitude) is what made me release the source.

This shit is stolen code, You dident make it, you dident buy it, and you are not the one who stole it. So you really have no say who gets it and who dont.

This should (and now is) free knowlage to the public, as any code done by a programmer should be.

Only way to better the community, is to help it.

First let's take care of this part. Did you pay for it? How did you get it? Actually, now that we think about it, YOU got it after someone who DID pay for it got it. So you released something someone DID pay for. What if I did pay for it, would you still have released it? Answer is yes, just to spite me.

As for my attitude, um, I've been after sources to client for hell knows how long, and I finally get them and I can't be happy to have them? Excuse me for feeling good and happy to finally have something and me wanting to help the community by developing a new generation of HGservers with a custom client. God forbid I attempt to help without you screwing it up. Next time I'll consult you, the all-great Daryl, on whether I can help the community. I'd never release client source, and the only thing I wasn't sure about was HG source, since I had gotten 2.20 after I wanted to go open dev. Since 2.20 wasn't out yet, I didn't want to release it for certain reasons. How does that qualify me as acting all badass like? You're telling me to grow up and here you are intentionally starting conflicts and friction online because you, for some reason, have nothing better to do with your time. If you don't want to hear from me, Forum->Ignore, MSN->Block, MyForum->Visit = Off. If you aren't willing to do any of that, then don't whine to me about you reading my posts or talking to me. If I recall correctly, GB used a similar reason for 'releasing' code. Only, it was scat's attitude in that case.

I would like to intervene here; Dax, you are a bigger snake. If anything, this was a ploy to goat daryl. You are a terrible person, worse than Daryl; or how you so eloquantly stated it. Alls I have seen from you, Dax, is your pubescent decadence and its foul odor that percedes it. Someone of "mature" qualities would have not cared to the source of the files, or the actualy nature to its procurence; but you did. You have made full well that everyone now knows, and I frankly don't believe a god damn thing of it. Maybe that some distant source had it, but to think you had some wild conspiracy plotted out in some precise measure to cope with inadequesy? That is what I believe; some punk kid with greater issue in acceptance. This is why you are a terrible person, going out of your way to make another feel bad it a foul thing, especially when its for personal glorification, and a sophistric one at that.
