Better idea. Make better use of your time and be productive. Helbreath will get you practically no where. Only by quitting HB did anything decent happen to me in regards to my coding abilities. Irony paid me a visit, I'm going to start college for programming soon, and I'm creating a decent project out of CO and getting rather far ^^ HB was a great game, and it's a good place to learn c++ because it has almost full sources released, but it's no place to spend your entire life. Move on. Even if you manage to create these 3.82 sources, who will give a shit? lmao. Seriously. You'll still have the same old crowd bugging you "WAH THIS DOESN'T WORK HOW DO I ADD THIS WHERE IS THAT WHAT'S THIS". If you're so set on staying in HB, redo the HG structure. After leaving HB and applying my knowledge in CO, I've seen so many new ways to accomplish things HB has. I even came up with a pretty hot ass threading model that HB could even use. Unfortunately HB private community isn't worth my time anymore

becouse building your own game will be more of wast time as hb. considering take more time to build the game then it is to fix hb heh.

and not like youll make money off your game, to many big company games out there and you cant compete with them.

It's not the fact that you compete with big game companies, it's the fact that you'll gain real programming experience

Who knows? If you're source is good enough, those big game companies might even try and hunt you down to give you a nice big paycheck for it.

i don't compete with people. i just do what i enjoy doing. that just happens to be programming, even if i'm not that great in it. if i did pick up game dev. i wouldn't let any big name company by me off. i'm all for the experience and pleasure rather than profit.

meh i didnt finish it never had time and i dout i will for like a month heh, so heres basic stuff, socket connection / login / register gameserver / delete character / create character, password recovery has crash bug. havent got to fixing it.

You dont have to do the game popular, you just have to inform any big company that we have this, and hook them up. They buy it, you get maney and can probably continue the developing, if you make a good contract.
