I'm currently working on a new version of the friends List, with many new features.

Already added :
- Loading / Saving Friends List Server-Side
- GSM on player login / logout to notify all HGs that a player logged in / out
- New class for storing online player from all HGs
- New class for storing friends from each player
- Add / Remove friends using commands /addfriend and /removefriend

WiP :
- Online friends list updated everytime a player log in / out
- Whole client side part (dialogboxes, commands...)

suggestions:
-dont add confirmation from whoever you want to add a friend to
-for add/remove/whisper, use buttons instead of text
-show lvl?
-show online/offline?

I was already working on it before coding client. I was forced to stop cuz client sources were needed in order to have a working window that can display the Friends Lists with all the friends related infos.

Now i have client sources and this fucking Friends List works perfectly !

I still have to add the dialogboxes client side and the actions for each button in it but all the other stuff is already working ;)

making new dialogs and events are easy, make them work correctly a bit harder.. ;) will you share your code? izzit on mysql or its saved on txt char?

I won't use MySQL cuz i think it's pointless to run a mysql server only for storing so few datas (Friends for now, Mails soon :huh: ).

I use a new txt file to store only the friends cuz i don't want to have any problem with the size of the character's txt file if the player have many items (bag and bank) + many friends...

It works correctly, but for now functions are triggered with commands /friendstatus, /addfriend and /removefriend, instead of easy2use Dialogs and Mouse Events

The code is done for Locobans' server and it will be released to some peoples. As far as this feature have to be added in many places and change alot of other features (/who use one of the new classes, /rep too...) noobs will ask millions of stupid questions that will piss me off, so it won't be released to public like all the next features i'll code (that means no more OpenSource4Noobs for me), only to peoples who will be able to use it and declare a var if i forget to declare it...

I think why it doesn't work cuz Drajwer didn't post the Server Side codes...

cuz u stupid faggot didnt read all code.

its saved in contents/friendlist.txt.

I dont put all codes correctly, but make it work its just add/move one line and its working. Copy&Paste sux.

Beside the name should be a online/offline status than you can see which friends of you are online.

I dont work on any server cuz my server is ruined (by me...) and no1 playing.. and that mean i dont need to code anything.
