Need any help? I might purchase some hosting from <a href='http://www.dreamhost.com' target='_blank'>DreamHost</a>. BD told ADDKiD about it, sounds exceptionally well, besides the shared part. Where do you get your service from?

Yeah great, I have 256 MB of Ram and I'd need to use your client. I'd have what? Like 25 FPS? Good luck to you with it, but think about others too if you do it already.

Would you like to explain? Currently the client uses around 46mb steady. Not much for having all the sprite templates loaded. Under heavy loading (running through sprite images about 40+ per second) it runs up to about 160mb. If you do it at super speed, around 500mb. It's not bad considering you'll never be loading that many sprites in HB naturally. You'll get better fps on it than the regular client unless your video card really blows. In which case it may go slower

As for on topic, just reworked the entire pak system into separate files. Pulled down 600mb into a measly 162mb

while not only preserving the original quality (as if there was much) but also allowing ALL sprites to be 24bit

next up is transparency testing again and then connecting to the logs

bone-you, you still developing your Logins? I'll run 'em. Better then what some of these people have offered, *cough* Juggalo2 *cough* I was just wondering, are these built from scratch or are they built off Aryes? Dax told ADD to go with Aryes... =/

1, drop the act.
2, from scratch. They are txt and I couldn't use anything from Aryes' logins because they were so restrictive to a single WL while mine has dynamic WL abilities. I originally intended to use Aryes' code as a guide since I was going to do mysql only but dropped it due to me not wanting to convert his way of coding to mine (we code rather differently x.x) so I just went with txt from scratch.
3, use them if you want. That's why I released them.

800x600. If it were to be implemented, how would you expect it to function?

Would it be like..
1) like hb is now just aligned to have further sight on the x,y?
2) new features in the empty space

things like that. How would the alignment be? Would the bottom bar (buttons, hp, mp, sp, etc) be in the middle? New sprite to cover the entire bottom? Relocate maybe now that there is more room? Any ideas?

Progress so far:
I've created a new sprite format. The .pak's were corrupted in some (but ddraw could still handle them) and not easy to edit. I created a sprite converter (full) and a mini sprite converter for single files for editing purposes. Transparency and loading works 100% and loading time really isn't much different (if not faster) than the normal hb client.

Before the hardcore coding starts (game functions and such), I've been trying to think of possible features that may be added and whatnot to create flexibility without compromising speed. Perhaps even a scripting engine? ;o

Mouse input finished along with the ability to display noncolorkeyed sprites (damn d3d).

Next up is keyboard input which is already partway done and then it's time to get sockets in

Going to see what I can do with it as I code the client.

hi bone you u are my hero man...very nice work!

i have some ideas...maybe u can add in empty space a STATUS BAR when u can see all the SPELL EFFECT TIME.

maybe u can add too a SKILL BAR whit easy shortcuts to Spells and items.
