Say what? I use 2005/8.0 all day long..

It's faster and easier to use than 7.0. I had to wait for my addon to work in 8.0 before I switched though. Took long enough xD 8.0 express is shit on the other hand.

8.0 had a lot of changes and deprecations. wsprintf, sprintf, strcpy, etc etc were all deprecated and will generate mass warnings unless you define
_CRT_SECURE_NO_DEPRECATE

Even then, they are only warnings. The errors are probably missing hg libs or something. Make sure ALL the files are in the right place and added to the solution.
