New mmorpg in open beta atm.
I unpacked there client but they have some detection that it was unpacked.

Doh i cant find it...
I overwrote the crc32, breakpointed all checkfile size.
And i actually dont know any other.

Did you manage to recover all "lost bytes" ?

I never could seem to figure out how to get the game to actually run on my system. I click on the client to intiate it, but the client never activates... =(

Im the frist persoon to unpack the hb int / usa client yes i got all stolen bytes.

Im getting nailed by a protection that disconnects u after 10 seconds dont know what triggers it

gimme your msn or xfire and ill give u my client or the bytes u need

u gotta run cabal.exe which runs update.exe and that in turn runs cabalmain.exe
u can bypass this by runing cabalmain.exe with the arg husky.

make a shortcut to it then add husky add the end of the link (outside the quotes)

Don't need it, ugly game. Anyway, if Im not mistaken it uses GameGuard? There are bypasses for that. One is XKB, but I quote: "The price is $48USD, and with that you get 1 year of bypass usage, 3 months of updates should the bypass get patched (which it never has, and because it isn't fully public I certainly don't expect it to) and 3 months of support/troubleshooting . If you wish to be extra careful of your investment; an extra $11.95USD at the time of purchase will extend updates and support to 6 months (alternatively $19.95USD can be paid at the end of the support period)."
There are also methods using serveremulation to emulate older REVs of GameGuard, but since Cabal started with REV800, I don't think it will fall for that >.<' I will try it tomorrow .. maybe..

I was able to launch the client, however I keep failing on the connection to the server; any ideas?

It does check for files but then it doesnt run.

That's why you disconnect. Gameguard isn't running.

That may be my problem, only that because my client refuses to run, it can not update; hence, I do not have gameguard. As you suggested adding in the line "husky" in the shortcut, it would force an over-ride, but I can not connect because of game guard =(
Is there any way I can procure a copy of the gameguard version for this game, or even bypass it?

I have no idea what your problem is neway what types of checks could there be????

Checked all getfilesize calls, overwrote the crc32.

dont know more checks than that.
