I think GateServer.cfg is wrong... dunno i got router too but never tried it try to open Helbreath Game Server Hosting Ports... maybe it would work :unsure:

everything needs to be on internal ip except for the gserver.cfg where it says external put external, rest internal

server needs to be set to lan for them to connect with your external ip in client

But i can't connect with the same computer... Is there any way to fix so i and others can connect?

you have to use your internal ip for you to connect to your own server, in the client that is

Did i get this right

For other to connect i have to give them a client with external IP and put cfg to LAN
And if i want to play with them on the same computer i jus gotta connect with a LAN client?

For them yes, it's external ip set to lan.
For you it's internal ip and you can try it on lan

all i get every time same thing after ive been on the chr screen

i click connect and it dc's me??

Mabye wrong cahr info or u have to put ur LAN ip in client

check your hg for errors if you made a new char could be a non existing item. You could have inputed the wrong ip in client, but it shouldn't d/c you but sit and connect if wrong ip. So sounds like an hg and cfg problem to me.

As all router brand are not compatible with hosting HB (you may host for outsiders but not play from inner LAN), I coded an option in 3.51 / 3.82 compatible C++ sources to be able to host AND play locally even if the router is not HB friendlly.

nope still carnt see wots wrong added new accounts still i get dc,
and anyone who trys and connects they get to chr select screen then dc <_<
