i posted source code in the submissions section to allow you to connect using a http:// address instead of ip's in the configs

just do a search for dynamic ip and it will prolly find it
then all you need to do is get urself a no-ip address, and people wont have any problems connecting to your dynamic ip

login.cfg

[CONFIG]
log-server-address = MYHB.zapto.org
log-server-port = 2848
game-server-mode = LAN

Im pretty sure it was actually Aryes's code, and not yours.

if you go back and have a look ayres did do something similar, but just replaced the IP in the client back before login.cfg existed.

i did it using login.cfg. so sure you can send him to the thing ayres did if you want.. but as it hasnt worked in like 2 years, theres not much point.

/edit, credit to ayres for coding the original DNS lookup, there sorted.

Or credit to hbx? It's only a dns lookup and variations have been floating around here for over 5 years.
