COMPLETE guide to REVEMU bot

1st. <a href='http://unadvised.net/users/binarydata/i ... ost&id=148' target='_blank'>Download the bot from here</a>

2nd. unzip the folder to anywhere

3rd. find the ip of the server by opening the client, then logging in to the char select screen. then open up command prompt and type netstat -n and the ip should be sumthin like xx.xxx.xx.xx:6900

4th. take that ip and go to your revemu folder that u unzipped. go to tables -> server.txt
and where it says put ip here, put the ip there, and a name if u wish

5th. go to option.ini and enter the path to your gat folder in your revemu folder
ie: C:\revem\gat

6th. run the exe and click the server you entered, then login, then click the server again, then click ur char

7th. set up the cfg. you can do this from in game, it has a nice little gui

IF YOU GET ANY MISSING .DLL or .OCX FILES MISSING, DONT WORRY

Just go to google, and search the name of whatever file you are missing
put the files in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder

you will most likely go to www.dll-files.com for .dll files.

and go here for the .ocx file <a href='http://members.optusnet.com.au/ayesee/MSWINSCK.OCX' target='_blank'>MSWINSCK.OCX</a>

and if it says a file in inproperly installed, restart ur comp

I wasn't able to get this working. When I checked Netstat for the server IP I didn't get a 6900 port. Instead I got a 34.::4500 In the case of login screen and fully connected.

I used this IP but it didn't work, I just kept getting "Connection is aborted from Server.." after it tries to Verify my ID. I am positive it is typed in correctly.

So, no dice. I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?

Also, I tried messing around with MessyKore a little bit but I didn't want to wade into that many lines. I might try that next...

What kind of luck have you had with MessyKore/ Rev? Any success? I saw that you wrote you haven't gotten Rev to work at all?

sometimes i get aborted from server, it just trys to log in again, and it works
see if the ip is on the website or in the sclient

Ok, i got the thing up and running atleast but now i'm having issues with the random walk. My char, when it can't find a monster returns back to town but he doesn't do any walking around...he just sits there at the entrance and sees nothing returns to sell...nothing

Any ideas?
