Guide to go with it

Lin2Mate Mystic Edition (+ configs)

Known Bugs

Map Update:
The map doesn't update mobs in your area when you first enter the game. All you need to do to fix this is to kill everything in the area once and when they respawn the program will see them.

Pathing:
Simply doesn't work. Your avatar gets half way through the points and starts freaking out.

AutoLogin:
Don't use this. Even if you get it working, if it screws up even just once it could login and spam the chat with your username and password. Bad Times!

Tips

1. Startup Enforcer.exe and activate BEFORE launching Lin2Mate, this way all the tabs work without having to click each and every tab. Also, make sure to close enforcer once Lin2Mate is up and running (enforcer will cause crashes in other programs if you leave it open).

2. Checking "Acquire" in the Monster tab will activate Sweep / Spoil for Dwarves.

3. Keep the Limit Distance at around 200 (last box in lmiit distance option (first 3 are coordinates, last is distance your avatar will travel from that point). This keeps your avatar running back to the "Here" point after each kill. Its much safer, but may be more obvious to players that you are using a bot.

4. The magic buffs found in the "magic" tab work, but can cause problems with the bot (you can get stuck in a "wrong target" loop). Don't use the "magic" tabs...

5. Set F.Ext in the "Function" tab to 20-50 or so... this will crash the game if your about to die. Sometimes this will keep your avatar from dropping items in the game.

6. Don't use "Range" or "KeepRng" in the Monster tab. This tells the program to keep your avatar at a certain distance from the mobs. It sounds good, especially for magic users, but will only get you killed. Run into a fast mob and you will run forever (often into deep water or into aggro mobs).

7. Do not use "Snatch" anywhere in the program. This will cause your bot to take other peoples adena and kills (insighting PKing and also drawing unwanted attention)!

8. If you are using soulshots be sure to activate the first one manually when you enter Lineage II so the bot can find them (and auto reactivate them :P).

**Skill Adding Guide

There are two files you need to have in order to successfully edit the skills used in Lin2Mate. One is the english.cfg file found in the lin2mate folder, the other is the decrypted skillname.txt file that I included in the Lin2Mate Mystic Edition. Have these two files open before you get started for easy access.

The lines of code of code we need to alter in the English.cfg file are listed here in bold:

itemlist=1833,1834,1060,1061,S1011,S1015,S1027,S12 16,S58,736,1829,1830,S7001,S1184,S1168,S1177,S1147,S1220,S1172,S1181,735,1375,734,1374,1831,1832,S4067,1835,1463,1464, 1465,2509,2510,2511,2512,1804,1805,1806,1807,3032, 3033,3034,3035
itemindex=0,9,12,16,18,20,22,31,39
AttackMagic=S7001,S1184,S1168,S1177,S1147,S1220,S1172,S1181

cmbAttack=S7001,S1184,S1168,S1177,S1147,S1220,S1172,S1181

The codes seperated by commas represent abilities/spells used in the game.

example: S7001=none(meelee) / S1184=Icebolt / S1168=Curse:Poising / etc.

All you need to do is a search in the decrypted "skillname.txt" to find the abilities you want. Write down the skillname_id somewhere else so you don't need to search over and over again for the skills you want to add. Then put them in the order you want seperated by a comma (just the code) in a seperate txt file so all you need to do is copy and paste (always put "S7001" at the beginning so you have meelee as a last minute attack when all else fails).

**IMPORTANT: Make sure you add a capitalized "S" at the beginning of each skill code before adding to the english.cfg file!

Now take your new list of skills and copy them over the old code I highlited in bold. Open up Lin2Mate to make sure they are listed properly, then startup Lineage II to test if its working.
