Diuuude: Jensen cracked the paks. Might want to re-consider how it's structured and change it. I've already learned a massive amount of information from him.

Btw I found my way back to playing some HB these days, Great to see I just came in time for a fresh server thanks Aryes.
Now only time can tell how loong you will last whit the updating and hosting.

Btw: You should work on fixing the downtime issues before working on the Hg improvements, it seems like youre hosting is very unstable been a couppel of upp/down times.

Anyway keep upp the good work.

Cracked the pak files? That was done years ago. Even if they have been changed, it's not a hard thing to do.

cracked the paks.. yea, because they use some hardcore encryption and data structures.. so hardcore the methods are unknown to mankind.

cracked is a big word... used a XOR encryption to avoid 99% of outpost's noob server owners from stealing the new paks... it's not hard to uncrypt but peoples here are so lamz and lazy that it may take noobs away for a while.

Anyways, if anyone want's some encryption challenge, i can give you some :P.

Next time i'll use some better encryption algo.

Well.. That'd be cool, if it was just to keep the noobs out. It sure worked, some spic tried to message me saying his "new" sprites wouldn't work. He got them from either my server, or HBU's. I laughed and told him about the encryption, then blocked his ass.

you should also tell him how it's crypted, give him tools to decrypt and maybe give him the key used... Good job !
