Im planning on buying a notebook, but i cant find any brand that would give you any chances to select what you want to the comp, evrything is packages. I dont want Vista, i want XP Professional. A good graphics card n processor but i dont need 5000000GB of space 150GB is enough, iv got more memory at home as external hdd.
Iv checked Ailienware out, there was like the only place u could "build" my own pc but evrything there is a bunch of overpriced PoS lol (maby not totally)

but yeah if u know some good brand leave a link or smth (preferrably in europe)

Yes, I just bought mine from dell. A very good price and customizing is great too.

im prolly going to buy either a Lenovo (IBM) or a Dell laptop. Iv noticed that dell has got pretty good customisation, but Iv got so much good memories from using IBM (especially Thinkpad). Im running on one right now, never had any problems with it, it has been in use like 5 years and been in repair shop like once or sumthing like that, only the hdd has broke and that was like last year (and hey, it has been in dayly use for 5 years!!!). Its just that IBM costs a little more

Im leaning on Lenovo Thinkpad T61, not totally shure wich of them (depends on how much money support i get from my parents lol) cos Dells websites (prices) are kinda liers, they have evrything excluding taxes and thats +22%... So first i tought, hey this is cheap, im going for this! But after noticing this, i tough, HOLY FUCK, man thats expensive

Iv found my laptop, Ill get it on monday (yay!). Its a Zepto ZNote 6625WD with core2duo@ 1.83ghz, ill prolly clock it a bit (or maby change the processor). It has a 512MB (dedicated) graphics card by nVidia, one of the best massproduced gc:s in the world that u can get for a reasonable price. I got it for 1199€ after my dad were in the shop half a hour taking the price down (got it down by ~260€ :D). So now i owe him a beer lol
