For starters dont use 127.0.0.1 this is a local IP for your computer only.
go into a dos prompt window and type ipconfig,this will tell you you lan ip,
put that in all your server cfg,s and hex it into the game client

An easy way to get 100% skills is to edit the manual in item*.cfg,replace the 20 with 100(or whatever skill% you require), I haven't quite worked how to do Magic skill with this method yet tho

i had another look in my odbc
the account and character should say SQL SERVER in the driver section same as the localserver

When you clicked on add you haven't scrolled down the bottom of the list and selected SQL SERVER then click "next" (not finish)

If crafting has not been coded into the HG build 521 that i think were all useing(might be wrong there) then i dont think just adding the items in the cfg will do any good

S Q L _ a x s z d c < replace each letter with your own password from the S to the : note the spaces are 00 on the hex side not 20. you could shorten the password if you wish terminate it with a : then fill the remainder with 00 (hex) upto the original : all the info gained so far is in the pinned ...

Yep that error is teling you that the database was not already on the server.
If in doubt press F5 a second time to execute the query and there wont be an error

Your setup looks ok,yes just the account character and server in the odbc.

Ive reinstalled mssql severall times but still get a 15-20 second delay when changeing servers,(changeing maps on same server is instant)
Anyway,has anyone sorted out npcitem.cfg, if not then thats my next job B)

Ok guys, sorry, i went to bed right after posting B4 :rolleyes: I think the DC problem is the wlserver and log server are trying to share the same ntrnal port. I changed my cfg,s as shown here and i can now change map servers without DCing,but it does take a few seconds to connect to the new server...

I dont dc when changeing to mapson different servers anymore
there is a delay of about 15 seconds tho before i connect to new map
Will let you no more when ive tested it a bit
